Hosted by Kenneth McLaurin, Ithaca's favorite North Carolinan, who has long gone by the moniker, "The Funniest Person You've Never Heard Of," but he's been here before, so yall know he's hilarious. As a southern boy, living in Upstate NY, Kenneth's southern fried outlook on life has audiences laughing with his infectious energy and affable nature.  After the release of his first album, "Cuttin Up! Comedy At the Shop" he has toured Upstate NY and is excited about being back in Ithaca performing with Comedy On the Commons.  Witty, Clever, Insightful, sometimes Shocking, but always Funny is what you get with Kenneth. 

Featuring the best of Ithaca and Upstate NY Stand Up Comedians it is going to be a great show!

Lauren Turczak

Lauren started in theater, performing for Williamstown Theater Festival and Off-Broadway productions. She began doing stand up in 2013 and has brought her own brand of comedy to clubs and venues from NYC to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Performing at three Funny Bones, The Comedy Works, The Loony Bin, Gotham Comedy Club, Greenwich Village Comedy Club, Mohegan Sun and Broadway Comedy Club to name a few. Her unique take on the mundane is a sarcastic but refreshing break from daily life.
