Ithaca, NY, April 2nd, 2022, 7:30 pm -- New York's funniest, and most entertaining comedians are coming to entertain you. Comedy on The Commons is excited to bring the best of NYS Stand-Up Comedy to the South Hill Cider. Hosted by Upstate New York’s favorite comedian, Kenneth McLaurin, and headlined by Rochester's nationally touring comedian Shirelle "Gator " Kinder, this is definitely a 5-star show. We will also feature some of the best of the up-and-coming NYS comedians.

Kenneth McLaurin

Kenneth, the North Carolina native has long gone by the moniker, "The Funniest Person You've Never Heard Of." But after the release of his 2nd album "Life’s A Joke, Find The Funny", that is rapidly changing. As a southern boy, living in Upstate NY, Kenneth's southern fried outlook on parenting, marriage, divorce, our culture, and life in general, keeps audiences laughing with his infectious energy and affable nature.

Natasha Keller

Natasha was known as Ithaca’s most eligible Bachelorette, now she is known as Ithaca’s funniest, and most eligible Bachelorette. With a unique look on life as a tall, single mother, Natasha is the comedian that you didn’t know you needed until you see her.

Keith Hannon

Keith got his start in Hollywood as a writer for the Best Damn Sports Show, and is a rising star within the Upstate, NY Comedy scene. A performance double threat - Writer, and Comedian, Keith has written, and opened for some of the biggest names in NYS comedy. As a husband, and father of three Keith's insight on marriage, parentening, and life will have you laughing for days.

Josh Wallenstein

Josh, a Binghamton native, has been performing stand-up comedy since 2018. While living in California, Josh performed at Levity Live, Ventura Harbor Comedy Club and Flappers Comedy Club. He’s also performed at the Broadway Comedy Club in New York City and the Cider Mill Stage in Endicott. When Josh takes the stage his personality and unique perspective on life keeps audiences laughing.

Shirelle "Gator" Kinder

Shirelle has graced the Rochester comedy scene with her special brand of anecdotal humor since April. A finalist in the 2018 and 2019 Funniest Person in Rochester competitions, Gator entertains audiences with active storytelling, her complete and utter shamelessness, as well as free advice on one-upping cat-callers and unconventional funeral planning.
