Comedy On The Riverside

Corning, NY, May 21st-- New York's funniest, and most entertaining comedians are coming to entertain you.  Comedy on The Commons is excited to bring the best of NYS Stand-Up Comedy to the Hilton Garden Inn.  Hosted by Upstate NY's favorite comedian, Kenneth McLaurin, and headlined by Syracuse's own nationally touring comedian, Mr. Jaxn, we will also feature some of the best of the up-and-coming NYS comedians.

Kenneth McLaurin

Kenneth, the North Carolina native has long gone by the moniker, "The Funniest Person You've Never Heard Of." But after the release of his 2nd album "Life’s A Joke, Find The Funny", that is rapidly changing. As a southern boy, living in Upstate NY, Kenneth's southern fried outlook on parenting, marriage, divorce, our culture, and life in general, keeps audiences laughing with his infectious energy and affable nature.

Dan Mullen

Dan Mullen is a contributing writer for Funny Or Die and the Weekly Humorist, a finalist of The Funniest Person in Rochester 2015, Utica Brews Laugh Championship 2018, and The Finger Lakes Comedy Festival 2018.

Arielle Johnson

Arielle Johnson is known as “The Best of the Midwest”, and is from a state that has less people than NYC, but her humor is ready for the big stage. Comedy on The Commons named Arielle as one of the regional comedians to watch for in 2022

Headlined by Mr. Jaxn, this show is definitely a 5 star show. Jaxn is a performs throughout the East Coast and is a regular performer at the Funny Bone, when he is home in Syracuseand Upstate transplant to Upstate NY. Jaxn is not new to comedy, with over 9 years of comedy to his name Jaxn brings a hilarious view of life in Upstate NY.
