Corning, NY, August 18th-- New York's funniest, and most entertaining comedians are coming to entertain you.

Comedy on The Commons is excited to bring the best of NYS Stand-Up Comedy to the Hilton Garden Inn. Hosted by upstate New York's favorite comedian, Kenneth McLaurin, and headlined by nationally touring comedian, Dario Joseph, we will also feature some of the best of the up-and-coming NYS comedians.

Kenneth McLaurin

Kenneth, the North Carolina native has long gone by the moniker, "The Funniest Person You've Never Heard Of." But after the release of his 2nd album "Life’s A Joke, Find The Funny", that is rapidly changing. As a southern boy, living in Upstate NY, Kenneth's southern fried outlook on parenting, marriage, divorce, our culture, and life in general, keeps audiences laughing with his infectious energy and affable nature.

Dario Joseph

Dario Joseph got his start in comedy in 2011, moved to New York City in 2015 and performed all over the five boroughs before returning to Rochester in 2019. Over the years, Joseph has opened for such national acts as Brian Posehn, Ari Shaffir, Kurt Braunholer and Iliza Shlesinger. He was Rochester’s Funniest Person in 2014, a finalist in the Cleveland Comedy Fest and a Brooklyn Comedy Fest performer. Joseph currently produces 3 monthly shows in his hometown and is the co-host and creator of The Refined Taste podcast, voted Rochester's 2021 Best Podcas
