Online Class Intro to Comedy Writing and Performance

 This course teaches the basics of comedy writing and stage performance for stand-up and sketch comedy.  

-If you want to add humor to your public speaking. 

-If you dabble in comedy and want some introductory professional techniques. 

-If you are funny with your friends and want to be funny in front of strangers as well. 

-If you love comedy and want an organized group of people to write jokes with. 

We will focus on different writing techniques/styles as well as the different aspects of performing the aforementioned styles of comedy. Everyone is welcome and no experience is necessary. 

We meet from 7 pm - 8 pm, 3 times a week from March 30th to April 17th.  That is 9 classes with a public show at a date TBD once we are out of social distancing/isolation mode. 

Technical requirements:  Internet access, and either of the following, computer with audiovisual capabilities(camera and microphone), tablet, iPad, or smartphone.
